Terms and conditions

These terms govern the use of workshop.cegaho.com and participation in the CEGAHO International Workshop — Sustainable Gastronomic Tourism Destinations (Cholula, Puebla, Mexico, 18–21 September 2026), organized by CEGAHO (Gastronomic and Hotel Business Center). By registering, paying or using this site, you accept these terms.

1. The program

The workshop includes training sessions and, depending on the package purchased, WorkLab activities and/or lodging. Content, schedules and venues may be adjusted for operational reasons; CEGAHO will communicate material changes by email or official channels.

2. Enrollment and confirmation

Enrollment requests are made through the site forms. Participation is confirmed when CEGAHO validates full payment (Mercado Pago or bank transfer with receipt) and issues an enrollment folio. Until then, a place is not guaranteed.

3. Prices and payments

  • Published prices are in MXN and do not include VAT or other taxes.
  • Early-bird or other promotions may apply until the date shown on the site.
  • Payment methods: Mercado Pago (card) or SPEI bank transfer as shown in the cart.
  • Mercado Pago charges are paid in full (single payment) with credit or debit card.
  • If you choose bank transfer, you must send the receipt via WhatsApp for validation. Enrollment is confirmed once payment is verified.

4. Packages with lodging

For packages that include a hotel, room reservation confirmation may be sent within a maximum of 48 hours after approved payment. Lodging may be subject to the partner hotel’s policies (check-in/out, occupancy, upgrades).

5. Cancellations and refunds

  • 20 days or more before the workshop starts: refund of the net amount received (amount paid minus Mercado Pago fees, bank fees or other non-recoverable charges).
  • Less than 20 days and down to 10 days before: the net amount may be used as credit for other CEGAHO events or services (no cash refund).
  • When a refund applies, it is processed through the same payment method within a reasonable time after a written request to info.cegaho@cegaho.com.

6. Place transfer

You may request transfer of the place to another person in the same organization, subject to availability, timely notice to CEGAHO and updated participant details. This does not automatically mean a refund of the original payment.

7. Participation and conduct

Participants must provide accurate information, respect venues, staff and other attendees, and meet any attendance requirements CEGAHO communicates for recognitions or certificates, when applicable.

8. Intellectual property

Materials, brands, content and methodologies of the workshop belong to CEGAHO and/or its collaborators. Reproduction, distribution or commercial use without express written authorization is prohibited.

9. Limitation of liability

CEGAHO is not liable for delays, partial cancellations or changes due to force majeure, authority decisions, third-party failures (including Mercado Pago or hotels) or incorrect information provided by the participant. To the extent permitted by law, CEGAHO’s liability is limited to the net amount actually received for the affected enrollment.

10. Personal data and cookies

Personal data processing is governed by the privacy notice. Cookie use is described in the cookie policy.

11. Changes

CEGAHO may update these terms. The “last updated” date shows the version published on this site. Continued use of the site or participation after publication means acceptance of the changes, unless law requires a different consent.
